I'm Speaking - Free Pattern!
Hearing Kamala in the VP debate reminded me that we as women need to stand up for ourselves. In every day life, in meetings, on a national stage - we need to embrace our power and be confident in our thoughts and words. I am also tired of people saying that she was condescending or “an embarrassment to women” because of her facial expressions that night. A man was talking over her, and could you imagine how many years she has had to deal with that both in the pubic and private sector, and now she had to deal with it while on national television? Over it. She has worked hard to get to where she is. Is she perfect? No. But she is a whole lot better than the two guys elected to work for our country right now.
She is an inspiration to me - when I get interrupted in meetings now, or when I am talked over with my ideas, I am going to channel my inner Kamala and let them know that I am strong. My thoughts are valid. That I am intelligent and capable and can speak my mind without being interrupted.

With this being a free pattern, it doesn’t have quite as much as my standard designs. I do not have the thread color guide or illustrated stitch instructions, but you can have fun choosing whatever colors you want to use, as well as utilizing the many resources online for the stitches! This pattern comes with: an embroidery materials list, some tips and tricks, a stitch diagram showing what stitches are used for the various elements on the hoop, and the traceable or printable pattern .
